Veteran music producer and singer,
Babatunde Okungbowa a.k.a OJB Jezreel, 49, is dead. He reportedly passed on this morning, June 14, 2016, at a hospital in Lagos.
Close sources revealed the music maestro who had a kidney transplant in 2013,relapsed last week and his family had to keep him on N35,000 dialysis daily to overcome the relapse.
OJB sadly died one month to his 50th birthday. His body has been deposited in a morgue at Isolo General Hospital.
He battled with kidney ailment for several years and relied heavily on financial donations from friends, fellow artistes in the music industry, and the public. On October 21, 2013, the singer underwent a successful surgery at a hospital in India.
Music producer K-Solo and singer Jazzman Olofin, have both taken to Twitter to confirm the sad incident. OJB is survived by three wives, June ‘Ama’, Korede and Mabel and many children.
