Bread Scarcity Hits Rivers State

Residents of Rivers and its neighbouring states are currently experiencing the scarcity of bread,a staple food in country.

This is as the Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria, Rivers State chapter, urged the Federal Government to intervene in the high cost of baking materials.
The scarcity of bread in the state, according to the association, is as a result of the one-week warning strike embarked upon by its members on Saturday as a result of the high cost of baking materials, including flour.
