Kachikwu Apologises To Nigerians Over Fuel Scarcity, Says It Would Now End In April



After the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, told journalists last week Wednesday
at the presidential villa, that he is not a magician to make fuel available overnight and said the scarcity may persist for two more months as oil produced in the refineries would not be sold but kept in a “strategic reserve”. The minister also went on saying, “one of the trainings I did not receive is that of a magician,but I am working very hard to ensure some of
these issues go away,” has now apologised to Nigerians today according to the News Agency of Nigeria at a meeting with the Senate
Committee on Petroleum.

He also assured that fuel queues will disappear across the nation by April and not May.
