Kim Kardashian West was listed at no. 42 on Forbes' 100 highest paid celebrities after netting $51 million last year. But while she didn't snag the top spot - Kim Kardashian still
manages to steal the spotlight as she poses on the cover of the magazine and is hailed a mobile mogul.
Kim couldn't contain her excitement as she shared the Forbes image on Instagram on Monday and wrote: " Such a tremendous honor to be on the cover of forbes! I never dreamed this would happen and know my Dad would be so proud. #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent ".
The 35-year-old reality star talks about how she's come to dominate the phone app market with her game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood which has so far made $160 million in revenue since its June 2014 launch.
Forbes reports 40% of Kim's earnings over the last year came from the mobile app. In her cover interview the KUWTK star explains that the game's maker, Glu Mobile, give her full control of her virtual
characters.
She gets full editorial approval, deciding on clothing and storylines, even down to what makeup and hairstyles the avatars will wear. And to ensure the app is always hot on the pulse, reflecting Kim's day-to-day
life, she even gives the tech team a head's up as to her plans especially when it comes to fashion. Kim's app costs $1.99 to download, And has been downloaded by millions of fans worldwide.
